How do I choose my products ?

To navigate the Candle City website, simply use the links on the left hand side of each page or the links provided within the text on the Homepage. This will take you directly to the product you have chosen. After viewing the products just click on "Add to basket" to make a purchase. Alternatively, click on menu list below the main "Candle City" heading to be taken to the page you are looking for. Just click on the "Your cart" button at any time to view the products you have chosen.

Where can I find a particular item?

To search for a particular item, on any Candle City page just click on a link on the left hand side. If you cannot find a particular item please contact us.

Why does a padlock appear in my browser when I enter my card details?

When you arrive at the Payment details pages, you will notice that a padlock appears on the bottom right hand corner of your screen. This indicates that you have entered a secure server. These pages are controlled directly by a company called Aitsafe E-Commerce and are guaranteed to be secure. Your card details are then processed on an SSL secure server by ww6.aitsafe.com. All Aitsafe Secure Order Pages are secured by 128bit SSL encryption.

Do Candle City sell products other than those on the website?

Candle City are capable of providing a wide range of candle products and accessories. Please contact us for any requests at info@candlecity.co.uk.

What happens to my details entered onto the Candle City website?

Any personal details entered at any point on the website are purely kept for Candle City's use. No third party will have access to your private information. Candle City may use your details in order to keep you aware of products, prices and other special announcements that they feel you may be interested in. If you do not wish to receive further announcements then please unsubscribe via the following e-mail address: info@candlecity.co.uk. with the word "Remove" in the subject bar.

What are the shipping charges?

Shipping is calculated based on the weight of each item ordered. Delivery is by Royal Mail or Courier Service.

I have not received my order?

PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for parcels once they have been despatched. Any queries regarding late or lost delivery will need to be addressed to the Royal Mail. If you do wish to contact the Royal Mail with regard to a missing parcel please contact us for a proof of postage receipt. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but please appreciate that it is out of our hands once goods are despatched. If you have arranged for your items to be delivered via the Courier Service, we will be able to locate your items, so please contact us.

Do I have to place my order via the website?

If you would like to place an order with Candle City but would prefer not to place the order via our website, please call us on 0161 432 0811 (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm). Alternatively you can send details of your order, including a cheque made payable to "Manchester Candle Company Ltd" to the following address: Candle City, The Dye Works, Kenwood Road, North Reddish, Cheshire, SK5 6PH.
